Solar Lights

The sun is the source of all energy on earth. Therefore, using solar lights, lights powered by solar energy, to decorate our garden would be a wonderful idea. The advantages of solar garden lights are that they can be freely distributed in gardens without having to worry about cabling, or children and pets being electrocuted.

The problem with solar garden lights is that they tend to have only a small area of solar cells and a relatively modest battery capacity. The consequences of these shortcomings are that solar garden lights have a reputation for emitting a small amount of light for a short period of time. The technology of solar cells and batteries has improved over time and the current generation of solar garden lights is superior to the first generation of solar garden lights.
In general, solar garden lights, as with many things, the more you pay the better the quality of the product. Therefore, solar garden lights, with low voltage lights, are a landscape lighting option. They require no electrical wiring and are powered by DC electricity generated from sunshine and can easily be relocated should you redesign your landscape. Solar garden lights have built-in photo sensors so they automatically turn off during the day and turn on at night. Best of all, light from solar garden lamps doesn't require the burning of fossil fuels and the generation of carbon dioxide and pollutants.

Recent technology means most solar lights last over ten hours on a full charge and the LED bulbs last for years. The variety of products available means it is eay to achieve beautiful soft accents, perhaps recessed lighting, or brighter spot looks for that beautiful bush that needs highlighting. The solar products available today will provide a night-time look to your garden that will take your breath away!

Consider solar powered path lights for a beautiful incandescent effect on your garden path. How about some gentle solar garden lights for the highlights in your garden, or a cluster of solar light sticks for a beautiful effect. Solar patio lights make your outdoor gathering space warm and inviting and most come with both amber and white light settings. Use the amber setting to create a more intimate atmosphere and the white when more light is needed.

Solar powered deck lights can be either hung on posts or recessed and provide yet another attractive method of soft illumination. Solar pool lights create an exquisite effect as they float on either pool or pond, throwing a soft glow onto the water's surface. Solar power can also do the job when more direct outdoor lighting is required: for instance a solar flood light provides strong illumination for security and solar post lights provide a classic look but can also provide strong white light if needed.
