Reforest Teak uses only solid teak, the finest available, and free of
holes, knots and other defects. After harvesting, the teak products are
carefully kiln-dried, which assures exceptional stability and
resistance to warping.
Body-FriendlyTeak furniture makes a powerful statement in your garden, but it should
also be comfortable. Reforest Teak is designed and crafted for comfort
that straight milled furniture cannot do. This teak furniture has
subtle details that form to the body's natural shape. The backs of the
furniture are curved instead of straight, the seats are gently cupped
and won't bite or pinch your thighs, the armrests follow a natural
curve and the corners are sanded to gentle roundness.
Quality Joinery and FinishFurniture has sturdy, mortise-and-tendon joints.
Excellent local craftsmen construction. All hardware is first quality, never-rust stainless steel.
Reforest Teak is made of thick, structural members.
Some furniture pieces arrive in panels, assembly ready. When it is best to ship fully assembled that is the exact way you will receive it.
It is hand sanded and individually inspected for a smooth finish. Not only is it pleasing to the touch but the wood's pores are sealed which extends the life of your furniture.
Reforest Teak Furniture CareReforst Teak furniture does not need anything on it to make it last.
Some teak furniture manufacturers suggest using a wax or oil finish to
extend its life, but Reforest Teak is made from very dense heartwood
that oil won't pentrate easily. It would probably pool up leaving a
sticky residue. Over time your furniture will take on a silver-gray
color without doing any work to it, this is natural and doesn't shorten
its life. If you prefer the teak's golden tone, use an environmentally
friendly sealer and cover your furniture during winter months.
To clean your Reforest Teak furniture, use a mild cleaner like Simple
Green to two parts
water. Wash using a medium bristle brush and air dry.
